Love hearing your insights Joe – You made me a Jet fan in 67 and seeing your involvement and obvious continued affection for the team makes my inner fan really glad I got addicted to the Jets all those years ago! I also agree about the officiating and its good to hear that someone with a high football IQ is validating my own interpretation (I'm not blinded by my own bias)

Joe, I agree with you on Mark Sanchez. Yes he threw his first interceptions of the season but did you really think he was going to keep it a 0 all season long, I didn't. I love his poise from adversity like you said, and what a throw to Dustin Keller in traffic. That probably was one of the best throws I have ever seen him make in his short career.

Joe,

Good opinion on this game. Jets played a tough game. Broncos made it a tough game. The bye will be good, because it will give the Jets an opportunity to practice hard, and rest the injuries. Fourth and Six was the game for the Jets, but Jets caught a huge break, with the pass interference by Denver, that was huge, and I believed they were going in for the touchdown, to put the team ahead 24-20. Turnovers can be addressed, Mark Sanchez knew it was going to happen, and I knew it to. He has done a great job in his second year. I think 6-1 will be great, against the Packers. Don't want to get ahead of myself, because the Packers can play tough. I like our chances. Jets need to stay healthy and keep on winning. Another thing I am proud is, not losing close games, last year Jets were 3-0, then dropped four in a row, and that hurt, they have learned to get better everytime they step on the field. Anyway, great job on your input. Jets Rock and Jets Rule.

Joe -
I was fortunate enough to meet you at your camp in Quinnapiac in 1994. My oldest son was attending your camp and my youngest son and I brought him up there. It was a particularly tough summer since my wife had lost her five year battle with breast cancer seven months ealier. Your graciousness to us and to all the kids and families was amazing. Thanks for making the tough times a little easier and for surpassing all our expectations.
