Mark Sanchez Excelling in OTA’s

It is still early in the offseason, but its good for Sanchez to start strong. With Tim Tebow hot on his heels, Sanchez needs to take the lead in this pseudo-quarterback battle. Sanchez has been throwing the ball strong and sharp, and has established himself as the best quarterback on the field, as evident as that may have already been. Tim Tebow has been shaky thus far, throwing a pair of interceptions in seven-on-seven drills yesterday. With the implementation of new Offensive Coordinator Tony Sparano’s system, both Sanchez and Tebow will have a bit of a learning curb, so its good for Sanchez to start strong. Expect Sanchez to start stronger this year than last–even despite the new offense–because the lockout prevented much of his development last season.
