Tebow Accepts Invite to Jets West

BroadwayJoe.tv would like you to know that newly-acquired quarterback Tim Tebow has accepted the invitation to the offseason camp run by the man ahead of him on the depth chart. Mark Sanchez’s “Jets West”–the offseason training camp he run for the Jets skill position players–has become a tradition for Gang Green. Held at Sanchez’s high school, Mission Viejo, in his home state of California, the camp allows players to gain a sense of familiarity and cohesiveness while not at mandatory team activities. Jets West, now in it’s third year, will fall in between the Jets mini-camp (June 12-14) and the start of Training Camp (July 26). It’s no surprise that the notoriously team-first Tebow will attend these workouts. What may come as a surprise to some is that wide receiver Santonio Holmes has yet to accept his invitation. Holmes did not attend last summer due to his impending free agency. However, after the tumultuous end ton last season–due in large part to Holmes–one would believe he would like to move past that and attend. We will see how this plays out, for we all know the Jets don’t need the extra controversy.
